What we are

Iguako International is a registered numbered company. The Institute is its public imagination.
We use the name “Institute” because we study before we prescribe, collect before we conclude, and build things people can enter. Sometimes that means software. Sometimes it means a story, a room, an archive, or a question with better architecture.
We do not publish a corporation number on this site, and we do not borrow institutional authority we have not earned. The work should be legible on its own.
Our mission is nothing.
Nothing is the space before an inherited answer becomes compulsory.
Why nothing?
Because certainty gets expensive.
Most organizations begin with a mission statement and work backward until reality behaves. We begin by removing the statement. What remains is attention: to the place, the people, the evidence, and the possibility that the original question was badly designed.
This is not indecision. It is disciplined room-making. The blank space lets us find the thing worth building—and the paradigm worth destroying.
